【摘要】:Asaresultofthemanufacturingprocess,internalstressesmaybelockedintothefilmwhichcanbereleasedbyheating.Thetemperatureatwhichshrinkagewilloccurisrelatedtotheprocessingtechniquesemployedtomanufacturethefilmandmayalsoberelatedtoaphasetransitioninthebaseresin.Themagnitudeoftheshrinkagewillvarywiththetemperatureofthefilm.Shrinkageofaparticularmaterialproducedbyaparticularprocessmaybecharacterizedbythistestmethodbymakingmeasurementsatseveraltemperaturesthroughtheshrinkagerangeofthematerial.Followingacharacterizationinaparticularcase,itisusuallysufficientthereaftertomeasureshrinkageatonlyoneselectedtemperatureforpurposesofprocessorqualitycontrol,orboth.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationofthedegreeofunrestrainedlinearthermalshrinkageatgivenspecimentemperaturesofplasticfilmandsheetingof0.76mm(0.030in.)thicknessorless.Thistestmethoddoesnotcovershrinkagefromlossofsolventinsomematerials.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoinch-poundunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThisdocumentisnotequivalenttoISO11501.
