【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardprovidesthespecificationsandproceduresforusingtheH-pointmachine[HPM1)]toauditvehicleseatingpositions.TheHPMisaphysicaltoolusedtoestablishkeyreferencepointsandmeasurementsinavehicle(seeFigure1andAnnexA).TheH-pointdesigntool(HPD)isasimplifiedCAD2)versionoftheHPM,whichcanbeusedinconjunctionwiththeHPMtotaketheoptionalmeasurementsspecifiedinthisdocument,orusedindependentlyduringproductdesign(seeAnnexD).TheseH-pointdevicesprovideamethodforreliablelayoutandmeasurementofoccupantseatingcompartmentsand/orseats.ThisdocumentspecifiestheproceduresforusingtheH-pointmachine(HPM)toaudit(verify)keyreferencepointsandmeasurementsinavehicle.Thedevicesareintendedforapplicationatdesignatedseatingpositions.Theyarenottobeconstruedastoolsthatmeasureorindicateoccupantcapabilitiesorcomfort.Theyarenotintendedforuseindefiningorassessingtemporaryseating,suchasfoldingjumpseats.
