【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofselectedelementsinmiddledistillatefuelsbyinductivelycoupledplasmaatomicemissionspectrometry(ICP-AES).Thespecificelementsarelistedin.Theconcentrationrangeofthistestmethodisapproximately0.1to2.0mg/kg.Thetestmethodmaybeusedforconcentrationsoutsideofthisrange;however,theprecisionstatementsmaynotbeapplicable.Middledistillatefuelscoveredinthistestmethodhavealldistillationfractionscontainedwithintheboilingrangeof150to390C.Thisincludes,butisnotlimitedto,dieselfuelsandaviationturbinefuels.Thistestmethodisnotintendedtoanalyzeinsolubleparticulates.However,verysmallparticulatematter(smallerthanamicrometre)willbecarriedintotheplasmaandbeincludedinthequantitativeanalysis.Thistestmethodmaygivearesultthatishigherthanthetruevalueifananalyteispresentinthesampleinaformwhichissufficientlyvolatile.Forexample,hexamethyldisiloxanewillgenerateabiasedhighresultforsilicon.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
