【摘要】:ThedataprotocolusedtoexchangeinformationinanRFIDsystemforitemmanagementisspecifiedinISO/IEC15961andinthisInternationalStandard.BothInternationalStandardsarerequiredforacompleteunderstandingofthedataprotocolinitsentirety;buteachfocusesononeparticularinterface:?ISO/IEC15961addressestheinterfacewiththeapplicationsystem.?ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththeprocessingofdataanditspresentationtotheRFtag,andtheinitialprocessingofdatacapturedfromtheRFtag.ThisInternationalStandardfocusesonencodingthetransfersyntax,asdefinedinISO/IEC15961accordingtotheapplicationcommandsdefinedinthatInternationalStandard.TheencodationisinaLogicalMemoryasasoftwareanalogueofthephysicalmemoryoftheRFtagbeingaddressedbytheinterrogator.ThisInternationalStandard?definestheencodedstructureofobjectidentifiers;?specifiesthedatacompactionrulesthatapplytotheencodeddata;?specifiesaPrecursorforencodingsyntaxfeaturesefficiently;?specifiesformattingrulesforthedata,e.g.dependingonwhetheradirectoryisusedornot;?defineshowapplicationcommands,e.g.tolockdata,aretransferredtotheTagDriver;?definesothercommunicationtotheapplication.NOTEConventionallyinInternationalStandards,longnumbersareseparatedbyaspacecharacterasa"thousandsseparator".ThisconventionhasnotbeenfollowedinthisInternationalStandard,becausethearcsofanobjectidentifieraredefinedbyaspaceseparator(accordingtoISO/IEC8824andISO/IEC8825).AsthecorrectrepresentationofthesearcsisvitaltothisInternationalStandard,allnumericvalueshavenospaceseparatorsexcepttodenoteanodebetweentwoarcsofanobjectidentifier.
