【摘要】:Thisguideisintendedforusebymaterialsuppliers,aircrafttransparentenclosurefabricators,air-framemanufacturers,governmentagencies,andothersthatmaybecomeinvolvedinthetestingoftransparencycomponents.Thesetestmethodsprovidedataonbothindividualmaterialsandmaterialcombinationscommonlyutilizedinthefabricationsofaerospacetransparentenclosurescomprisedofmonolithicplastic,coatedmonolithicplasticorlaminatedconstructionscontainingplastics.Primarypropertiesandtheirlongtermstabilityarecriticaltotheperformanceofaerospacetransparentenclosures.Propertymeasurementtestsdefineas-manufacturedmaterialpropertiesofthesematerials.Agingproceduresprovideforexposureofpartsorrepresentativesectionstoenvironmentsthatmayinducechangesinmaterialpropertiesasdeterminedinpropertymeasurementtests.Propertymeasurementtestsperformedbeforeandafteragingexposureprovideameansofestimatingthepotentialusablelifespanofatransparencyortocomparethedurabilityofonematerialwithanother.Whenemployingthesetestmethodsforcomparisonofmaterialsforweatheringeffectstheusershouldbeawarethatthemanyfactorsinfluencingdegradationduetoweatheringvaryfromonelocationtoanother.Fordirectweatheringcomparisons,allmaterial(s)shouldundergoexposureconditionsandpropertymeasurementstestingatthesametime.Thetestmethodslistedincludethoseconsideredcriticaltotheperformanceofaircrafttransparentenclosures.Othertestmethodstoevaluatematerialsmayalsobeperformed.Additionaltestmethodsareinpreparationandwillbeincorporated.Theuserisadvisedtoemploythelatestrevisionofanytestmethod.Thedominantcomponentofalltransparentenclosuresisone,ormore,rigidtransparentsheet(s).Thesheet(s)mustpermitthenecessaryvisibilitywhileprovidingstructuralintegrityandprotectingtheaircraftinteriorfromexternalenvironmentsasrequiredbythespecificaircraftdesign.Initsmostsimpleform,therigidtransparentsheetmaybetheonlycomponentofatransparentenclosure.Whenmorethanonerigidtransparentsheetisemployed,thesheetsarelaminatedwithacontrolledthicknesswitheitheranairgaporwithatransparentadhesiveknownasaninterlayer.Transparentenclosuredesignsmayusemultiplerigidtransparentsheetstotakeadvantageofspecificpropertiesofdifferentmaterials.Inthisinstance,therewillbefunctionsrequiredofoneofthesheetsbutnottheother.Thetestmethods,practicesandguideslistedareasummaryoftheavailabletestmethodsapplicabletoplastictransparentenclosures.Theyarepresentedinthisformattosimplifythesearchandtoenabletheusertodetermineifamethodapplicabletohisrequirementsisavailable.1.1Thisguideisintendedtosummarizethestandardtestmethodsavailableonindividualandcompositematerialsutilizedinfabricationofaerospaceplastictransparentenclosures.Assuch,itisintendedtospecificallyincludetransparentthermoplastics,transparentelastomers,andreinforcedplastics,whetherthermoplasticorthermosetting.1.2ThisguideisintendedasanaidinthesearchfortestmethodspertinenttoAerospacePlasticTransparentEnclosures.Itshouldbeunderstoodthatallmethodslistedmaynotapplytoallenclosures.1.3ThestandardsincludedrefertothepropertiesoraspectslistedinTable1.Thepropertiesoraspectsarelistedinalphabeticalorderandthedescriptionsusedareintendedtofacilitatethesearch.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddetermi......
