【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversseven-wireuncoated,indented,stress-relievedsteelstrandforuseinpretensionedprestressedconcreteconstruction.Grade250IandGrade270Ihaveminimumultimatestrengthsof250ksi[1725MPa]and270ksi[1860MPa],respectively,basedonthenominalareaofthestrand.1.2SupplementIdescribeslow-relaxationstrandandrelaxationtestingforthatproduct.Low-relaxationstrandshallbefurnishedwhenspecificallyorderedandfurnishedinplaceofstress-relievedstrandifmutuallyagreedtobythepurchaserandsupplier.1.3Thisspecificationisapplicableforordersineitherinch-poundunits(asSpecificationA886)orinSIunits(asSpecificationA886M).1.4Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandards.Withinthetext,theinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.
